Air Serbia to Marco Polo, will operate four flights a week between Venice and Belgrade
Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, connects Venice with Belgrade today with four flights a week. The first incoming flight from Belgrade landed at 8:30 am Thursday morning Marco Polo airport where he was welcomed with the traditional “Angel Water”, the inaugural address of the firefighters. The departure for Belgrade took place at 10.05.
Arriving in Venice with the first flight, a delegation led by Zorana Mihajlović, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister for Public Works, Transport and Infrastructure; Giuseppe Manzo, Italian Ambassador to Serbia and representatives of Air Serbia, the first of the CEO Dane Kondić. The flight was operated with an exceptionally Airbus A319 (YU-APJ) entitled to Dejan Stanković, the famous Serbian football player living in Italy. The connection, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, will be made by turboprop aircraft, ATR 72 with 70 seats. The round-trip fare for the route Venice – Belgrade will start from 134 Euro, taxes and fees included.
